Chadroc coming to The Jungle

Get ready Tiger fans, band, and Ambush Nation!

Chadroc, the man responsible for our entrance song "In The Building", is coming to The Jungle on Friday, September 7th when the Tigers host the Great Bridge Wildcats.

Bout to turn up even more

Over the years, the Tigers' entrance onto the field has received some national notoriety, but things got taken to the next level on Saturday night when rap artist Chadroc took notice of our entrance versus West Forsyth (NC).

The story started with a tweet from Kyle from 757 Teamz who noted the Tiger Cage entrance as "THE best intro in football".

The entrance song of choice for the game was "In The Building" by Chadroc Ft. Dudie, a song created for the Clemson Tigers. With a hook like "Them Tigers in the building", it was a natural fit to hype up the squad and the crowd and to create that jungle atmosphere.

Suddenly, Chadroc's phone was blowing up with messages that a high school team was using his song.

After watching the video, Chadroc himself was fired up.

Twitter worked its magic and before long Chadroc was chatting it up with players and fans.

Not content with just shouting out the squad, Chadroc is now making it his mission to visit the school for a game in the coming weeks and months.

Thanks for the song, thanks for the love, and we'll be seeing you soon, Chadroc!

Special night with Special Olympians

On Friday night, after a week of lifting and conditioning on Monday through Thursday, a dozen or so Oscar Smith football players made their way to Chesapeake Lanes on Battlefield Boulevard to bowl with a couple dozen Special Olympians.

A good time was had by all and we expect to get together more in the future with our friends from the Chesapeake Special Olympics.

The power program out of North Carolina finished with an 11-1 mark last season and have compiled a 41-11 record since 2014. They finished the 2017 campaign as the #11-ranked team in the state in the 4A classification, the top group in the Tarheel State.

Game time is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 25th.

Notable athletes from West Forsyth include the NBA's Chris Paul, Washington Redskin and former Florida Gator defensive end Alex McCalister, and Class of 2018 All-American defensive end KJ Henry, a Clemson commit.
